Op 17 februari heeft de stichting HoutrookVrij een brief met uitgebreide bijlage aan het ministerie van Volksgezondheid en het ministerie van Infrastuctuur en Waterstaat gestuurd waarin we duidelijk maken dat de schadelijkheid van particuliere houtstook ernstig wordt onderschat. In de brief pleiten we er voor om de gezondheid van omwonenden beleidsmatig te laten voorgaan op de vrijheid van de houtstoker.

Deze brief is mede onderstekend door de besturen van Vereniging Leefmilieu, het Luchtfonds en Clean Air Nederland.
