Krakau neemt geen halve maatregelen voor een betere luchtkwaliteit. Sinds drie dagen geldt in de Poolse stad een totaalverbod op de stook van vaste brandstoffen.

Houtstook is permanent verboden in vaste installaties zoals open haarden, houtkachels en buitenhaarden.
